Livia is an accomplished architect and urban planner who graduated in 2009 with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidade Estadual Paulista, in Bauru, Brazil.
After graduating from the university Livia accepted a position as a design assistant with the award-winning interior design firm, Galeazzo in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She went on to take a position as an architect assistant with Um pra Um Arquitetos Associados, an architectural firm in Fortaleza, Brazil. In 2011 she landed a position as an architect with Cicero Toledo and Andre Paes Architects in Sorocaba. There she did preliminary project work and volumetric studies in 3D, as well as working with clients on projects. From 2011 to 2014 Livia served as an urban planner with Jeplan, a general contracting firm based in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo. Before coming to the U.S., Livia founded her own architectural firm with projects that included architectural work on a new farmhouse in Carmo de Minas and interior design work.
Livia’s skill set includes AutoCAD, Sketchup, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine and Archicad BIM (Building Information Modeling) software. She is also fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. In addition to these skills, Livia brings a wealth of interior design, architectural and urban planning expertise to the TK Design & Associates team.
