Grant Tyll hails from the small town of Ubly in the Thumb of Michigan. He cultivated his interest in Architecture while attending the Huron Area Technical Center in Bad Axe where he acquired skills in design software programs such as AutoCad, AutoDesk, Revit and Chief Architect.
Grant advanced his architectural and design knowledge while attending Lawrence Technological University (LTU) where he graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. During his years at LTU Grant was employed as a student assistant, managing the front desk at the Athletic Center and assisting in setting up the facility for large sporting events. He also spent a summer break working as a member of the Huron County Park Staff in Caseville, performing park management duties including grounds maintenance tasks and crowd control for festivals and other events.
Prior to joining TK Design & Associates as a Revit Specialist, Grant oversaw packaging and distribution for Maurer Meat Processing, a custom beef, pork and venison processing company in Ubly. Grant's considerable customer service experience, his architectural design talent and knowledge, and his keen software skills are valuable assets which enhance the TK Design team and its client relationships.
